The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) has announced free registration for hotels in Swat. The decision will help local hoteliers and encourage more people to visit the scenic valley.
KPCTA Director General Tashfeen Haider announced this during a visit to Swat Valley, where he met with local hoteliers. He explained that hotel owners in Swat can now register their establishments with the KPCTA’s Tourist Services Wing (TSW) without charges.
He encouraged hotel and restaurant owners to offer top-notch services, including quality food and cleanliness. He hoped this would create a positive impression on local and international tourists, helping to boost the region’s tourism.
The KPCTA was accompanied by Administration and Finance Director Muhammad Ali and other senior tourism officials. He also visited hotels and information centers in Swat to inspect the amenities provided to tourists.
The officials visited the newly constructed building in Fizagat, which will soon house a tourist information center, TSW offices, training facilities, and a Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management.
