LetsRead is an initiative that aims to build a community for book sharing. The app is called LetsRead – Books for Everyone and it is available on both Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
LetsRead encourages book owners to donate or sell their books at a low price to make them more accessible to those who cannot afford them. By providing a marketplace for both readers and sellers, LetsRead aims to connect people with the books they desire while helping book lovers manage their collections more efficiently. Booksellers can also leverage the platform to expand their reach and discover new customers by listing both new and used titles.
Once you have the app, you can sign up via your email or log in through Facebook, Google, or your Apple ID. The app includes books in a variety of categories including fiction, entertainment, horror, history, health, education, technology, cooking, and many more.
Users can also add a book themselves and are encouraged to share a detailed description. You will be required to add the book title, the author’s name, the book’s ISBN, a unique ID assigned to every book, and the book’s version/edition. However, the last two requirements are completely optional so you can leave those out.
LetsRead currently has over 10,000 downloads on the Google Play Store and a solid 4.3/5 rating. The download size is only 44 MB.
