Hundreds of Teachers in KP Have Not Received Salaries in Several Years

It has been revealed that hundreds of teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been deprived of their salaries for several years. A report on this issue has been submitted to the provincial assembly.

According to the report, hundreds of teachers under the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation have not received their salaries. Specifically, 389 teachers of the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation have not been paid for the past three years.

The documents further indicate that 727 teachers under the Foundation have also been without salaries for the past year.

Regarding this matter, the Education Department has stated that the province is facing a financial crisis. Over the past three years, funds amounting to 450 million rupees have not been released. Until these costs are released from the Finance Department, the teachers cannot be paid their salaries.
