Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is poised for a significant design overhaul with its upcoming Note 14 series, set to debut in China next month.
The first glimpse of the Redmi Note 14 Pro reveals a striking departure from its predecessors, featuring an ellipse-shaped camera island. This marks a bold shift from the horizontal camera alignment that characterized previous generations of Redmi Note devices.
As the launch of the Redmi Note 14 series approaches, more details about the Pro model are emerging. The Redmi Note 14 Pro is anticipated to feature a powerful 50MP main camera, complemented by two additional sensors whose specifications remain undisclosed. This camera setup is expected to be housed in the device’s distinctive ellipse-shaped island.
Under the hood, rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 14 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, promising robust performance for its class. The display is said to be a “double micro-curved” panel with a crisp 1.5K resolution, potentially offering an immersive viewing experience.
The Redmi Note 14 series, including the Pro model, is slated for an initial launch in China next month. Global markets can expect these devices to arrive in November, as Xiaomi continues its strategy of staggered international releases.
There is no word on the vanilla Redmi Note 14 or whether there will be a Redmi Note 14 Pro+, but those phones always tag along the Pro so it shouldn’t be long before we hear about those too.
