Federal Cabinet to Address Issue of High Electricity Bills Tomorrow

The Federal Cabinet will likely address the high-cost electricity bills and discuss relief measures for the people of Pakistan tomorrow.

Sources told ProPakistani that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif summoned a meeting of the Federal Cabinet meeting tomorrow. The federal cabinet meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s House. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting.

The Federal Cabinet will examine proposals regarding providing relief to people in electricity bills. The nature of the relief package will also be reviewed on this issue, sources added. Participants will review the country’s economic and political situation.

The Federal Cabinet will ratify the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee. Damages caused due to rains and relief activities will also be reviewed.
