The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has announced that applications are now open for the 2025 Fulbright Scholar Program. This esteemed program will select approximately 15 scholars for the 2025 academic year. Of these, 13 positions are reserved for faculty members and researchers in the early stages of their careers, with 2-7 years of experience, while the remaining two positions are intended for senior scholars with 8-15 years since the completion of their Ph.D. or terminal degree.
The Fulbright Scholar Program provides up to 12 months of opportunities for lectureships, post-doctoral research, or a combination of both at a U.S. college or university. Selected scholars will engage in academic and cultural exchanges, offering their insights on Pakistan’s society and culture to students, colleagues, and community groups in the United States. Upon returning to Pakistan, Fulbright scholars are expected to make meaningful contributions to the country’s development by sharing their U.S. experiences within their academic and professional circles.
