Punjab Abolishes Major Condition for Transfer of Teachers

Good news for teachers: The requirement of a seniority number for teacher transfers has been eliminated, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Teachers have only 10 days left to submit their transfer applications, with the online submission deadline set for August 31.

Due to a high volume of applicants across Punjab, the transfer application link is currently down.

The provincial education minister has promised to restore the online application link today with assistance from the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat explained that the application system was overwhelmed by the simultaneous submissions of many teachers.

He assured that all teachers will have the opportunity to apply.
