Chinese gaming equipment maker HKC has unveiled its latest budget monitor for gamers called the Falcon II G25H3. This may not be a high-resolution display, but it can support extremely high refresh rate gaming, which is ideal for esports titles.
Despite the name, the Falcon II G25H3 has a 24.5-inch IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and a remarkable 300Hz refresh rate, which is nearly impossible to find at this price range. The response time is only 1 ms, which should come in handy for competitive gaming.
Supporting HDR 400, the monitor delivers vibrant visuals and deeper contrasts for greater immersion. Boasting 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, 125% sRGB volume, and a ΔE ≤2 color accuracy rating, the Falcon II G25H3 ensures accurate color reproduction. The contrast ratio here is 1000:1 while the viewing angles at up to 178° degrees are supported vertically and horizontally.
The Falcon II G25H3 monitor doesn’t just deliver impressive visuals, it’s also packed with features tailored for gamers. There are enhancements onboard like a crosshair overlay, dark field enhancement, a game timer, and FreeSync support for smoother gameplay. Preset modes optimized for FPS, RPG, and racing games further enhance the gaming experience.
The G25H3 boasts a user-friendly design with an ergonomic stand for height, tilt, and vertical rotation adjustments. Its hexagonal base minimizes desk space, while 75 x 75mm VESA compatibility provides flexible mounting options. Connectivity is plentiful with two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DP 1.4 port, and an audio-out jack, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.
The HKC Falcon II G25H3 has a starting price of only $154 in China.
