With the expected arrival of Xiaomi’s newest phones, the 14T and 14T Pro, just around the corner, leaked details about their features and European pricing have emerged.
The 14T, coming almost a year after its predecessors the 13T and 13T Pro, is rumored to be priced at €649 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model. The higher-end 14T Pro with 12 GB RAM and a generous 512 GB storage is expected to retail for €899.
While the leaked specifications have provided some information, it remains unclear if Xiaomi will offer other RAM and storage options for the 14T and 14T Pro. The 14T is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, while the 14T Pro will boast the more powerful Dimensity 9300+.
The Dimensity 9300+ is a bit disappointing on the 14T Pro since the next MediaTek flagship, the Dimensity 9400, is expected to launch just a few weeks later in October.
Both phones will come with the same color options to choose from including Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue, but it is unclear whether the phones will have titanium in their frames or if it’s just the name of the color.
The screen specifications will be the same on the two phones, a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1220 x 2712 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a whopping 4,000-nit peak brightness. The main camera on the 14T should be based on a Sony IMX906 sensor sized at 1/1.56″ while the telephoto camera will be a 50MP shooter with 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” zoom. The third and final camera should be a 12MP ultrawide shooter.
The 14T Pro’s main camera sensor will be larger at 1/1.31″ and it will be the Light Fusion 900 unit with 2x “optical equivalent” zoom. The other two cameras will be shared between the two devices and the 32MP selfie camera will be identical as well. There should be a 5,000 mAh battery onboard, but there is no word on charging technology.
Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will boot Android 14 with HyperOS on top and will have IP68-rated water and dust protection.
