LDA Seals Numerous Illegal Commercial Buildings in Lahore

Following the directives of LDA DG Tahir Farooq, LDA teams carried out an operation against commercial fee defaulters on Multan Road, sealing 18 properties on Monday.

The operation was led by Chief Town Planner 1, Asad Zaman, and overseen by the Director of Town Planning Zone 2, Ahmed Saeed. The LDA Enforcement Squad and police were also involved in the operation. The sealed properties included electronic shops, paint shops, workshops, furniture shops, and others, all of which owe millions of rupees in commercial fees. Asad Zaman noted that multiple notices had been issued to these properties before the operation was conducted.
